Teen Gohan SSJ3

I have ever since I have been here on Deviantart been asked every now and then when or if I will be making Gohan as a Super Saiyan 3. Now I’m not the only one who has never made Gohan as a SSJ3, because if you look up Gohan SSJ3 basically nothing good comes up. With that said there is one very outstanding version of him out there made by moxie2D. moxie2d.deviantart.com/art/Dra… It’s by far one of my favorite Dragon Ball Z artworks of all time and I think it’s a perfect representation of what he out look like from a side on perspective. That’s why I wonted to make a version from a front on perspective, since there wasn’t any out there. So why I never made one is because I have never been able to think of what his hairstyle would look. But recently I had this image in my head of what I thought he might look like. I started off with the SSJ2 hairstyle and then I draw on the rest of the blades of hair around him. First time I started making him, the hairstyle was so bad, so I scraped it and started again. Second time around I was much happier with it. Once I had the basic style down, I then adjusted and chance little parts of the hair here and there. Main part chance what was the SSJ2 hairstyle, as it was just a base to go off. I add and chance the shape and style there to fit more of the SSJ3 look. Now this hairstyle is 100% mine and was not easily to make but it what I believe he may have looked like. For the pose it’s very basic and an iconic pose of Teen Gohan form the Cell games. I choose this pose because I wonted something bit more interesting then him just standing there. So I thought this pose fitted the form well. Anyway I hope people like it hair, background and all as it was certain not easily to make as I mentioned before.

For the background, nothing special. Keep the same tin plate as my last artwork and the image behind him is of the Cell game. It's dark and stormy which I wonted for a new form for Teen Gohan, felt it fitted. Defently would not have gone SSJ2 and then SSJ3 as close together in such a short perird in time. But it's an iconic part of the Dragon Ball Z series, so I went with it anyway.
