Mystic Gohan, Cell Saga Outfit by hsvhrt Mystic Gohan, Cell Saga Outfit by hsvhrt
I like making Gohan even though there is mix opinions about him. Over all I can't help but like him, even though he could have been so much more. Design wise, what I alike about him is the large amount of different and unique at times, outfits he has worn though out the series. Now I have made Adult Gohan SSJ [link] in this outfit before and decide what if Gohan asked instead of wearing his father's outfit, he would again wear Piccolo's outfit once like he did in the Cell saga.

Original outfit based off nMINATO [link] Piccolo outfit from the DBCProject. Colors, lines and other details changed to fit the Tenkaichi style.

:happybounce:  AWESOME!!!!! Piccolo's outfit has always suited gohan better in my opinion. I wish he hadn't become so useless later on though. After the Buu saga, when he got in a relationship with Videl and began to focus on studies again, his power just seems to have vanished and this awesome fighter was replaced by a clerk like nerd. Gohan, as well as piccolo have always been my favorite characters but it seems both of them were written off to the side when the Buu Saga ended. That's why I'm not such a big fan of anything after Buu. I'm not a very big fan of Videl or Chi-chi that much, either, because they both assisted in the process of turning him into a nerdy and ordinary working father. I want the old Gohan and Piccolo back. Even child Gohan is better than nerdy GT Gohan in my opinion.  This right here is a great example of how I feel about what happened to Gohan.  :lag:

Thank you very much and yeah I totally agree with you. Always nice though to think of what Gohan could have achieve had he not focus on studies. Gohan as a Super Saiyan 3 would have been awesome. Do wounder why they wrote Gohan out like that by the way. Wounder what their reason was?

They wanted to keep the show more Goku focused I think and Gohan was quickly outshining Goku so they wrote hime out. At least that's what I think happened.

You know, the more badass I realize that Adult Gohan is, the more I realize how much more badass he could have been if it wasn't for Chi-Chi. Now, I have nothing against studying. The thing is: when you are practically being forced to do nothing but study and you turn into an iredeemable nerd by becoming a dorkish superhero, you know you are screwed up. The more I think about it, the more I start to think that Goku is deliberately avoiding her by staying dead. To quote Bulma from one of my favorite fan fics:

" "It's a shame he had to get married to such a woman. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't have much against Chi-Chi. On the contrary, I think she can be very sweet when she wants to. But, I find her relationship with Goku off. Being frank here, is their marriage really based off of love? To start off, her love for Goku was held by a small childhood crush when she was probably around 10. And, I find it a tad bit ridiculous that she first felt these feelings because Goku, who was ignorant and stupid at the time, performed a "pat-pat" on her, to figure out if she was a girl. I mean, I gain interest in men quite fast, but never over something as stupid as that. And if that's not the only thing, she practically forced Goku to marry her; by claiming it was a childhood promise. Why would she hold something for so long after being so young and naive? Taking advantage of the fact that Goku can never turn down a promise, she married him kind of against his thoughts. I mean, seriously? Goku though the word marriage meant "food" the whole time, and you still uphold the promise? And now, you should see her yell at the poor thing. Goku gets reprimanded for breathing, the way I see it. And, he's scared of his wife, to top it all off. You're not supposed to be scared of the one you "love"! You're supposed to love the person you "love"! Which is why you got married, right?! Which brings me to another point. Gohan. I have no doubt Chi-Chi loves Gohan, but I see many cracks and holes in her relationship with Goku, concerning the kid. For example, when Goku had gotten battered almost to death in the battle between him and Vegeta, Chi-Chi, after coming down the aircraft, which I piloted, rushed over, and only paid attention to Gohan, who suffered only bruises and cuts. In fact, after doing nothing, she even had the audacity to scold Goku on saving her and the planet's hides. And in the hospital, when Goku was put in a casket and had to deal with his massive fear of needles, all Chi-Chi did was mock him and walk out the room, paying no attention to the fact Goku was screaming louder then when doing an attack. And what is this about Gohan's studies? Like, look, I understand that being educated is a must, and I know how Chi-Chi would feel about the issue. I mean, hell, I don't want my child, whenever I get him or her, to be an uneducated little sprat. But it doesn't mean I'm going to practically beat my husband up over it, both verbally and physically. I mean, sheesh, when Gohan and Goku both agree that the kid needs to get stronger for the sake of the world, how can you argue back that his studies are more important? I just don't get it. And I, myself, can see and feel Goku breaking apart slowly, one piece at a time, deteriorating, his will to fight breaking, and his thirst for adventure. I may be the only one to notice though, but Chi-Chi is sucking the life out of our little monkey man."

All of that is true the way I see it.

I agree wholeheartedly, Teen Gohan was the most powerful in the universe at the end of the Cell games. But focused on his studies then on, thanks to Chi-Chi after Goku dies. Leaving him behind and passed by his father and Vegeta. GT he became even more of a nerd and much more of a useless character. All the skill and power gone to waist, what he could have been we will never know thanks to her.
